The Iranian ambassador to Iraq, Muhammad Kazem Al Sadiq, confirmed his wishes for al-Sadr’s return to the political process, noting that if he had been present, the budget would not have been delayed for six months.
The Iranian ambassador said, in statements followed by the insider: “We regret the departure of Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr from the political process, and he is a great symbol and one of the political figures who have a presence, and we hope that he will return to the political process.. If Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr was present in the political process, the Iraqi budget would not have been delayed6 Months”.
And Al-Sadiq continued: “The political process in Iraq is not without complexity, and talking about Iran’s interference in Iraqi politics and the installation of personalities is ‘media chaos’, nothing more.”
And Al-Sadiq added: “We have close relations with the demanded” Al-Tishreen Spectrum, not “Al-Jawkari”, and some parties entered the line of demonstrations and did not want the stability of Iraq.
