In a statement, Alamolhoda said, “The Assembly of Experts has made its decision and elected the new Supreme Leader,” adding that “the Assembly’s secretariat will officially announce the new leader’s name.” He further stated, “No member of the Assembly has the right to change their opinion, as stipulated by the constitution.”
