An informed source revealed on Wednesday that specialized regulatory authorities are conducting investigations into the insurance premiums imposed on electronic loans in government banks.
The source explained to Shafaq News Agency that the regulatory authorities are working on auditing the files related to these sums, verifying the mechanisms for collecting them and the entities to which they are transferred, as well as identifying the entity responsible for managing and controlling them.
He pointed out that the investigations aim to determine the details of the movement of these funds, identify how they were spent and who benefited from them, in order to ensure transparency and compliance with applicable regulations and instructions, and to hold those responsible accountable according to the law if it is proven that they caused the waste of public funds.
