The Integrity Commission announced on Friday, the issuance of arrest warrants and recruitment of deputies and local officials on charges of corruption and waste of public money, indicating that the recruitment orders included a minister and five current deputies and two former ministers.
In a statement issued today, the commission said that the investigation department in the commission issued arrest warrants for a minister, five current deputies and two former ministers.
He added that the Department issued an order to bring 38 members of the provincial councils of current and former members last October, indicating the issuance of an order against one governor and two presidents of the provincial council, as well as 6 general directors and one deputy minister.
“The investigation department has issued arrest warrants for the governor and the current provincial council chairman and five general directors,” he said.
