The Taliban confirmed that the war is over in Afghanistan, and that it does not want to live in isolation and wants to build relations with the international community .
And yesterday, US President Joe Biden, who is under harsh criticism, defended his decision to withdraw US forces from Afghanistan, noting that his country’s mission was never to build a nation or a center for democracy, but rather to prevent terrorist attacks on Washington .
Biden stressed that America should not fight and die in a war that Afghan forces do not want to fight for themselves. He then announced the allocation of $500 million from the emergency budget to meet urgent immigration needs from Afghanistan.
