High annual inflation index in Iraq because of rents and food prices and education
Annual inflation index rose in Iraq by 6%, due to higher rents for residential units, food and education throughout the country.
This was announced by a Spokesman for the Ministry of Planning Abdul-Zahra al-Hindawi, noting that “the monthly inflation rate for the month of September rose slightly by 0.3%.”
Hindawi said that “the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Ministry of annual inflation report completed on the basis of field data collection on the prices of goods and services components of the consumer basket of selected sample of outlets in all provinces. “
