From Kirkuk to Georgia: An Iraqi takes on the role of Chief Marshal in the US police.

The young Kirkuki, Muhammad Salehi, assumed the position of Chief Marshal in the Manchester City Office in the US state of Georgia, after a career spanning years in police work and community service, which he began in the United States as a patrol officer.
Salehi said, in a statement followed by Shafaq News Agency, that his arrival at this position represents the fruit of a long journey that began in his childhood in Kirkuk, all the way to the United States, where he worked to build his life and career in the security and police field.
He added that “the road from Kirkuk to this stage was not easy, but rather required many challenges, sacrifices and continuous work,” stressing that his experience in the United States constituted a journey full of experiences and responsibilities.
Salehi continued: “Today I feel proud to serve humanity and society as a Kurd, and to take on a new role as Chief Marshal in the Manchester City Office in Georgia.”
He affirmed that his belonging to Kirkuk is a source of pride for him, saying: “I feel proud of the place I came from, and I am grateful for all the distance I have traveled. Although I have gone far, I have not stopped continuing on my path.”
He pointed out that “life is like a game of chess, with many moves and changes, but God gives man blessings that help him continue on the path,” indicating that his arrival at his new position “is not the end of the journey, but just the beginning.”
In this context, the Manchester Police Department (MPD) published a tribute to Salehi’s career, confirming that during his time with the department he performed his duty with professionalism, integrity and dedication to serving the community.
The administration expressed its appreciation for the services provided by Salehi during his years of service, wishing him success and good fortune in his new mission.
