The leader in the coordination framework, Jabbar Odeh, confirmed, on Tuesday, that the Sudanese government has opened 10 of the most dangerous corruption files in the country, 3 of which are in Anbar Governorate.
In an interview with Al-Maalouma, Odeh said, “All political forces, without exception, are aware of the seriousness of corruption and its penetration into state institutions and its disastrous results in the loss of trillions of dinars in fake projects and others below the level of ambition, which contributes to increasing poverty, lack of services, and threatens the entire political process.”
He added, “The Sudanese government has actually opened 10 of the most dangerous corruption files in the country, 3 of which are in Anbar, the most prominent of which is the land plot file, which is still surprising, especially since the size of the land seizure has reached very large levels, amid information that multiple parties are involved in coverage at one time and protection at another.”
He pointed out that “corruption files in 5 ministries are currently under investigation,” noting that “important arrest warrants will soon be issued against many of those involved.”
The country suffers from the phenomenon of corruption, which has spread widely and reached unprecedented levels in the Al-Kazemi government, which allowed the looting of billions of dollars from multiple institutions and departments.
