A member of the State of Law coalition, former MP Rasoul Radi, confirmed that the coordinating framework can achieve more than 165 seats during the first session of Parliament to go towards forming a consensual government with the participation of political parties from other components.
Radi told Al-Maalouma, “The other Sunni and Kurdish parties have electoral benefits related to the posts of President of the Republic and Parliament, where most of the parties have a tendency to go towards a consensual government.”
He added that “the coordination framework has ensured the support of the other parties, and therefore it can achieve more than 165 seats during the first session of Parliament, where there are advanced understandings with the political parties in the other components.”
