Federal Court rejects challenge of forgery in budget tables

Shafaq News/ The Federal Supreme Court rejected, on Wednesday, the appeal filed regarding forgery in the general budget tables.
A source in the court told Shafaq News Agency, “Considering any legal appeal requires the availability of the condition of direct personal interest, which was not achieved in this case, which prompted it to reject the appeal and close the file . ”
Last year, Member of Parliament, Basem Khazal Khashan, filed a complaint with the Federal Court regarding Parliament’s adoption of different schedules within the 2024 budget, instead of the schedules voted on by the Council.
