BAGHDAD (Reuters) – A number of members of the Sulaimaniyah provincial council have asked to host three officials in Sulaymaniyah and the Karamian administration to give information about the fears of the collapse of 18 bridges along the border.
“The legal number of the members of the various blocs submitted their signatures to the presidency of the Council, with the aim of hosting the Director General of the reconstruction and roads and housing in Sulaymaniyah and the director of protection and repair of roads in Sulaymaniyah and the road manager in Karamyan.”
“The reason for hosting the three officials is to follow up the fears of the collapse of some 18 bridges in the Sulaymaniyah province and the Karamian administration because of heavy rains this year and the occurrence of floods,” Ahmed said.
