Expert: No value to fix a date for elections without resolving 3 files

{Baghdad: Al Furat News}. The electoral expert, Duraid Tawfiq, stressed on Saturday that there is no value in determining the election dates without resolving three files.
Tawfiq said in a press statement that “the electoral vehicle has three wheels. The first is an annex to the electoral law, meaning Article 15 first.”
He added, “The second wheel is to define and allocate the electoral budget, meaning that the budget cannot be determined without knowing the form of the districts. For example, in the 2018 elections, there were 18 ballot papers and today there are words about 80 constituencies, or 80 ballot papers, and there is a proposal that says 250 constituencies or 250 papers A ballot cannot determine a budget without determining the shape of the districts. ”
He said , ” The third thing is the issue of general managers in the elections , the Independent Electoral Commission , which has not been resolved until now because of the political pressure that has become clear to the Commission through the media, which led to the jamming of its work” .anthy
