US Republican Party member Frank Mismar revealed on Friday that the White House is taking steps to control prices in global markets and stock exchanges in light of the war with Iran, while indicating that Tehran is on the verge of “collapse” as a result of the blows it has received .
Mismar told Shafaq News Agency that the region is on the verge of dramatic transformations that go beyond the concept of a “temporary truce,” and that the “massive” American military buildup approaching the Iranian coast, and the suffocating economic pressures, are putting the regime in Tehran before “bitter” choices, amid indications of an imminent “structural collapse” in the Iranian leadership system .
Military time with an “economic clock ”
Mismar, a senior advisor at the University of Maryland, explained that the choice of the ten-day truce period that Trump extended “was not random, but rather carefully calculated to regulate the rhythm of global markets.”
US President Donald Trump had given Iran a five-day deadline, which was supposed to end on Friday evening, before he returned on Thursday and extended it to ten days, in order for Tehran to reconsider its calculations and respond to the American demands to stop the war .
Mismar revealed the map of US naval movements, confirming that strategic military units such as (Shepherd, Kealey, New Orleans, San Diego, and Tripoli), in addition to elite teams from “Delta Force” and the 82nd Airborne Division, will arrive at their deployment points between Thursday evening and Friday morning, making the time perspective for operations clear and complete.
“Strangulation ” strategy
Regarding the economic dimension of the conflict, Mismar pointed out that there is a difference in objectives between America and Israel; while Israel focuses on Iranian proxies and ballistic missiles, the United States is moving towards complete control over “oil resources”.
He added that “Washington wants to control the oil tap heading to China, and it realizes that controlling islands like (Kharg and Qeshm) means completely paralyzing Iran’s export capacity and ending the shadow fleet that sustains Tehran’s affiliated factions in the region.”
” Internal disintegration ”
Regarding the Iranian home front, Mismar believes that “the regime is suffering from erosion in leadership, as powers have been distributed geographically to those he called ‘warlords’.”
Mismar predicted that the United States would strike civilian infrastructure if it decided to accelerate the collapse, which could lead to a total state collapse and create chaos that Washington is trying to avoid by searching for an “alternative class” to lead the transitional phase .
” Arab NATO ”
At the end of his remarks, Mismar questioned the shape of the upcoming balances, especially after the recent Iranian attacks that unified the Arab position .
He pointed to serious proposals regarding the activation of “Chapter VII” and an international alliance to protect waterways, and the possibility of forming an “Arab NATO” that includes the Gulf States, Jordan and Morocco, as well as searching for alternative routes to export oil via pipelines to avoid blackmail of the straits .
Mismar stressed that the current crisis will not end by returning to square one, but will establish a new reality that ends the “Iranian veto” on international navigation and opens the door to comprehensive security and economic arrangements in the Middle East .
