The United States has ordered the evacuation of its embassy in Kuwait, according to CBS News.
The network reported that “US officials ordered embassy staff to destroy sensitive information and wipe classified servers, after the embassy was subjected to several attacks.”
The US State Department announced Thursday the suspension of operations at the embassy and urged American citizens to leave Kuwait immediately.
