Erbil welcomes Abadi initiative and confirms its readiness for dialogue with Baghdad[Ayna-Erbil]

He pointed out that “the Council of Ministers of the Government of the Territory, welcomed during the meeting, the initiative of Haider Abadi, the Prime Minister of Iraq Federal Federal, to begin negotiations with the provincial government to resolve outstanding issues between the Kurdistan region and the federal government according to the Constitution, and within the principles of partnership and consensus.
The statement added that “the territorial government, confirms its readiness to dialogue with the central government, and calls on the international community to contribute and help to foster dialogue between the two sides.”
The Council called on the citizens of the Kurdistan region and government institutions to help their brothers displaced from Kirkuk and Tozormatu who were forced to leave their homes against the backdrop of recent events, stressing look forward and overcome [harsh circumstance] which passes by the region and the emphasis on unity and teamwork. ”
He noted the statement of the territorial Government that “Historical experience has shown that the will of the people of Kurdistan will not be defeated by weapons and military actions, and that the problems of Iraq will not be resolved in this way.”
