BAGHDAD / Baghdadi News / .. revealed high-level source in the State of Law coalition, on Thursday, the existence of endeavors for the presidency to go to the Federal Court to determine the constitutionality and legality granting Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi some of the reforms by the House of Representatives.
The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity for / Baghdadi News /, that “three presidencies meeting which was held last Monday had agreed to provide clarification before the courts and legal constitutionality of some provisions of the paper reform presented by the Prime Minister for the statement and voted on by the House of Representatives last month,” noting “The meeting of the three presidencies discuss constitutional and legal reforms the subject and the possibility of their application on the ground after approval in the House of Representatives.”
