A member of the Parliamentary Services Committee, Representative Mahma Khalil, revealed, on Sunday, that the members of the Parliamentary Finance Committee had signed the draft federal budget law and submitted it to the heads of the blocs to put the final touches, while indicating that the presentation of the law to a vote will take place within the next two days.
Khalil said, in an interview with Al-Maalouma, that “the Parliamentary Finance Committee has completed its work in preparing a draft federal budget law for the next three years, as it was signed by members of the committee.”
He added, “The committee raised the draft law to the heads of the political blocs to put the final touches,” noting that “the law will be presented to a vote during the next two days.”
The deficit rate reached 63.275 trillion dinars, with the adoption of a price of 70 dollars per barrel of oil, given that more than 95 percent of budget revenues depend on oil sales.
