Local media revealed leaked documents implicating the current speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohammed al-Halbousi, and several deputies in a corruption case related to the issue of Sumer cigarettes.
The documents indicate that Halbousi had resulted in irregularities when he was chairman of the Finance Committee, where the amount of damage caused by the corruption deal 240 billion Iraqi dinars.
