A member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Representative Salem Al-Anbuge, set, on Wednesday, the date for putting forward the oil and gas law, stressing that passing the law contributes to zeroing the crisis between the center and Kurdistan.
Al-Anbuge said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that “after the end of the parliamentary legislative recess, many laws will be submitted to the Presidency of the Council according to precedence, and there are important laws that must take their due in the discussions, including oil and gas, which represents an important link in ending a debate that has been going on for many years.” .
He added, “The law is linked to other points related to Article 140 and the methods and mechanisms of oil marketing,” stressing that “the political consensus that led to the formation of the government, and it will push to crystallize solutions to pass oil and gas.”
Al-Anbuge indicated that “the dialogue based on the interests of all parties is what will push to resolve the law during the current session,” stressing that “there are several important laws that will be discussed in the next stage in particular,” explaining that “delaying them does not serve any party, since the current situation in the country requires Resolving all the complexities in the general scene.”
