The former Iraqi diplomat, Ghazi Faisal, confirmed, on Thursday, that the caretaker prime minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, failed to achieve any achievement during his visit to America, indicating that his team acted randomly by arranging random meetings, contrary to diplomatic norms.
And Faisal said, in a televised interview, which was followed by “The Information”, that “Al-Kazemi’s team did not arrange a program for him during his visit to New York, and all of his important meetings were random.”
He added, “Al-Kazemi’s meeting with the Secretary-General of the United Nations was unorganized and lacking in organization, which gave a negative impression towards Iraqi diplomacy as a result of the failure of his team.”
Faisal pointed out that “there is no follow-up in Iraq for the work of embassies abroad, and that the prime minister is the one who draws the foreign policy for Iraq, but the failure is clear in the diplomatic juncture.” Done/25 d
