Representative of the Fatah parliamentary bloc, Ali Turki, revealed, on Saturday, that the Sudanese government has completed the draft budget law, and it will be sent to Parliament in conjunction with the start of the second legislative term, which will start its work on the ninth of this month, for the purpose of discussion and approval.
Turki said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that “confirmed information we obtained indicates that the Sudanese government has fully completed the draft budget law for the current year,” noting that “the government, in turn, will send the draft law to the House of Representatives for the purpose of discussion and approval.”
He added, “The House of Representatives will open its first session for the second legislative term after tomorrow, the ninth of this month, and will set a number of laws in its agenda,” suggesting “the arrival of the current weekly budget bill.”
The representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Sharif Suleiman, confirmed in a previous statement that there was no agreement between Baghdad and Erbil regarding Kurdistan’s share in the budget, while he expected it to reach parliament at the end of this month.
