Today, Wednesday, the representative of Al-Fatah, Uday Hatem, condemned the article published in the Iraqi newspaper Al-Sabah by the American ambassador, calling on the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate to verify everything published in the Iraqi media, as it represents the public opinion of society.

Hatem said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “The American ambassador’s article, which was published in the Iraqi press, is considered an intellectual and cultural occupation with the goals of directing public opinion to misleading information that the ambassador is trying to broadcast through the state’s media platforms.”

He added, “The ambassador’s words are untrue, and America has provided nothing to the country except destruction and devastation,” noting that “in light of Iraq’s military need for countries, only the Islamic Republic of Iran stood with us.”

Hatem continued, “America does not have credibility with the Iraqi government and people,” noting that “the government must expedite the removal of American military forces from Iraq.”

It is noteworthy that the American ambassador published an article in the Iraqi newspaper Al-Sabah on 3/13/2024, in which she indicated that Congress allocated more than 3.5 billion dollars to build the capabilities of the Iraqi security forces and that the United States is the largest donor and supporter of Iraq.
