Al-Baiji said in a statement. “The House of Representatives voted to remove these forces from our lands, and there is no place for them to stay permanently, and removing them is the only solution for the stability of the country,” explaining that “their stay is useless and they are the cause of the destruction and devastation of our country since the first day they entered our lands, and it is time for them to leave.”
Al-Baiji added, “As representatives of the people, we call on the Iraqi government to work on removing the foreign forces as soon as possible,” noting that “it is not possible to allow a single foreign soldier to remain on our lands.”
He pointed out that “we do not need men who fight on our behalf, especially since our heroic sons from the Popular Mobilization Forces and other security forces of all kinds have proven to the whole world that they are the ones who liberated the land from ISIS terrorist gangs.”
