The deputy of the coordination framework, Ahmed Fawaz, confirmed, on Wednesday, the new government’s intention to open all the files of the administrations of successive governments, especially the last government, calling on the political forces to activate parliamentary oversight against the money that was spent on food security.
Fawaz said in a televised interview, which was followed by “The Information”, that “the forces of the coordination framework have before them to challenge the legacies of successive governments, especially the current caretaker government headed by Mustafa Al-Kazemi.”
He added, “The corruption file will be opened to its widest doors, and the fate of the food security law’s money must be known, how much of it was spent and the remainder to hold any corrupt accountable,” noting that “food security began by inciting the street against the forces of the coordination framework motivated by Al-Kazemi in order to steal money through it.” .
The independent politician Saad Al-Mutalibi had confirmed in a previous statement to Al-Maalouma that the tax money theft case had taken a broad popular path and no party could dilute the case or cover it up, indicating that if the judiciary resolved this case of theft, it would be a door to open more dangerous files or similar.
