Cyber Security warns citizens of a fraudulent website claiming to be linked to Rafidain Bank

Today, Saturday (January 25, 2025), the Cyber Security Center monitored a fraudulent website claiming to be linked to Rafidain Bank.
The center said in a statement that “the fake website calls on those wishing to activate external withdrawals and raise the financial ceiling for withdrawals for the MasterCard by entering the card information on the website.”
The center added, “A group of pages were monitored on the social media platform (Facebook) claiming to be linked to Rafidain Bank, and calling on those wishing to apply for advances and loans to contact the pages for the purpose of applying for these loans.”
The center confirmed that “the website and pages on the social media platform (Facebook) are fraudulent and are used to illegally collect citizens’ data, so please be careful not to fall victim to these fraudulent attempts.”
