The representative of the State of Law coalition, Muhammad Saadoun Al-Sayhoud, confirmed, on Sunday, that the American side deliberately provoked the dollar crisis in order to subjugate Iraq, indicating that the rise will not last long.
Al-Saihoud said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that “the exchange market witnessed in the last period speculation operations as a result of an American conspiracy intended to put pressure on the Iraqi government.”
He added, “The issue of the dollar’s rise in exchange rates is due to economic speculation, noting that the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a al-Sudani is working resolutely to restore the exchange rate to its previous price,” and explained that “this rise will not last for long periods.”
A member of the House of Representatives, Aqil Al-Fatlawi, revealed in a previous interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, that there is a movement by members of the House of Representatives to host the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, the Governor of the Central Bank and the Minister of Finance, to discuss the repercussions of the crisis of high exchange rates and to find out the causes.
