They also patrolled during the open time of the CBI while American worker were allowed to send their money home to their families. The banks today I am told are back serving their iraq customers.

The problem is Iran is now dumping enough forged currency on Iraq that it continues to negatively affect the street rate. I believe that the bank will come to the logical conclusion, if they haven’t already, they must go and go soon. I think it will be $1.00 or .86 right out of the shoot allowing them to release the smalls denominations immediately following the change in rate. 4-26-2013 Intel Guru Delta There are 8 construction companies in Baghdad, in Iraq & none of these people have been paid yet for 4 months. I talked to the director in charge of the Qui [sp] cards & he said the only way to go international is to go with Master Card, not the local card & in order to do that you have to have a tradeable currency. They were supposed to do it a month ago, but nothing happened. The director said they are waiting for them to raise the value of the currency. They are waiting for this one thing. They can not go with the program rate of 1166. There is a good possibility that the rate could be 1 – 1 and then go up. It will not be a free float. That would be a disaster for Iraq. To the average Iraqi, it will just be a reduction in the money supply only. His salary will be reduced equivalent to the new value of the currency.
