6-11-2013 Newshound Guru SWFloridaGuy We regret to inform the community that SWFloridaGuy passed away in his sleep last night. SWFloridaGuy brought a great voice and perspective to this investment and he helped a lot of people by shedding a light on a complex subject. This is a great loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will be missed.

6-11-2013 Guru Critic, I want to add that I met Dan aka SWFloridaGuy in Chicago just a few months ago, this comes as a complete shock to me as he was in great health, far to young, with no apparent medical issues, he will indeed be missed…Gods speed Dan, RIP. The Iraq government and the Central Bank have published news reports of deleting the three zero’s. Deleting the three zero’s means the printing and distribution of new Iraq dinar currency. An article that was published in May 2013 details changes that would have occurred if the printing of the new currency would have taken place.

6-9-2013 Intel Guru OCrush Barzani and Maliki have met successfully 🙂 This is what we were waiting for. If this had a hiccup all that was accomplished would have gone to xxxx! It’s a pivotal day and we are very excited! Next we should see the Kuwaiti PM visiting Baghdad. Also the parliamentary sessions start on the 16th or 18th and they will have there legislations in place to vote on (with the big boys blessings). 6-8-2013 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG Report: “World Bank Iraq Trust Fund Banking Sector Reform Project” note…it outlines June 2013 as the END of this program. Meaning the Banking Sector reform Project is projected to be COMPLETE this month. I’m not so certain they don’t do the currency this month just because of that. That’s the end of the program. They have to come up with something to make the currency work.

6-8-2013 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG There is a lot of pressure being applied in different places to get this done. If I line all the political stuff up with what is going on financially it all makes sense. What I’m hearing from a couple of very well placed sources is there is no guarantee they will actually get this done but there is a real sense of urgency on the part of the GOI. 6-7-2013 Newshound Guru American Contractor Article: “Secret Procedures for recovery of the dinar against the dollar” The Iraq Central bank has imposed new rules on the Iraq Banking sector in regards to hard currency and the Iraq dinar. Each Iraqi citizen is limited to how much Iraq dinar they can exchange for hard currency. The limit per person is $5000 USD. They have to show their Iraqi passport & then they can make their transaction. But, most Iraqi’s don’t have a passport. The Central Bank is now encouraging the black market to prosper. Now see why in the upcoming weeks the sale of the US dollars will go down, but this will only be temporary. This will not be good long term for Iraq. Read more…

6-4-2013 Newshound Kaperoni The whole buy oil for $32 or $36 a barrel is a myth. I have yet to see a document that states such. That is not going to happen and they won’t use dinar either. For one thing, Iraq’s 2013 -$118 billion (138 trillion dinar) budget was based on $90 a barrel and they are hoping for higher prices to make it work. IMO, The plan will have dinar held as a reserve currency throughout the world in central banks. Eventually, over a period of time (as Saleh stated “a long time”), some of that may get re-invested back into Iraq, in construction, tourism (hotels), agriculture, manufacturing, etc. Read more…

Remember they can’t tell the world they are about to RV, float etc to any significant level…I believe their statement about restoring value to the dinar this month is true and they are just downplaying.. because after all, wouldn’t they have to? …you have to admit there’s been some very encouraging articles released lately by the CBI, World Bank, Finance Committee and foreign investment companies. 6-1-2013 Newshound Guru Tlar More and more articles are beginning to call a spade a spade and are targeting Iraq [Iran??] and Syria as the ones buying the dollar…This is not a CBI problem alone. It’s a battle that if it were to happen anywhere but Iraq, the government would be taking the lead role to fix it because the government is the one with the resources to police this…Anytime your currency is being attacked all should get involved. Maliki’s government remains quite letting the bank take the fall and in fact attempted to use this as another reason to move in on the bank… Most likely there is payola from Iran to some leaders in the government to look the other way. 5-31-2013 Intel Gurus SteveI, OCrush & Ray the Bremmer initiative…was put forward as law back in 2003, so they could release the new dinars (the one’s we hold) and adjust the pay scale to it. The cabinet on Sunday (May 26, 2013) are disqualifying this CPA law and bringing forward the new pay scale law. He is taking a risk in saying this, especially a risk with Maliki, who put him in this position because he wanted Shabibi out. Furthermore, Turki is slapping the Supreme Court in the face with his statement that they overreached in an effort to find fault at the CBI when there were no wrongdoings at all, in Turki’s opinion. Looking for the IQD on a paid Forex account (or an imposter account such as Netdania, Yahoo Finance etc., is a futile exercise. The IQD is not traded on Forex and will not show up there first. This will not show up suddenly and start trading on Forex, that much I can promise you from speaking about this at great length with professionals who know far more about this then myself. 5-28-2013 Newshound Guru Doc We have received numerous questions concerning the article that talks about the CBI taking steps to raise the value of the dinar in June. Many of the internet sites are screaming that this is the announcement of the RV. Unfortunately this interpretation is totally incorrect for several reasons. The most obvious reason is there is no way the CBI will ever pre announce any RV. It would be cheaper for them to simply start giving away millions of dollars. Think about this seriously. If an RV was announced ahead of time the run on dinar would be staggering and the liability to Iraq economically unsustainable. Read more…

And quite frankly a bit alarmed! So I had my Kurdish friend try to reach our GOI contact to see WHY this was posted. First of all the language “next June” DOES refer to THIS June. We are working with every major financial institution on getting the best deal when time comes. None of these have signaled the time has come.
