8-14-2013 Intel Guru Mnt Goat They did an in country RV and the rate was $3.44. Don’t let anyone convince you of the insanity that this did not occur. I have very strong contacts in Iraq and you are getting it straight from the goat’s mouth, as I got it from them. So why has the rate not changed in the CBI site? It has not changed since the global reset has not happened. The rate shown on the CBI will not be reflective of the $3.44 ever. He will have set Iraq’s monetary policy back and have done irreparable damage to the relationships with the Association of Independent banks as their sacrifice will have been in vain. These banks have put their money on this as a result of something Turki told them. I believe he told them a date he was going to delete the zeros…just as he did…with members from the Finance committee and Economic committee. It was called a “staging rate” and is well documented in these forums. I would love that to be the plan, but the article…confirms that is not going to happen. Maliki has not budged on his policy and he is not going to give “overnight” value to the dinar.

Yesterday the Finance Committee and thus the CBI for the first time finally activated the delete zero project…that commenced the RV process. So immediately… we see where Maliki was again threatening to institute an interim government and disband the Parliament. He knows that just the threat of his starting a full blown dictatorship could perhaps cause the PTB (UST/China) to hesitate about sending the IQD fully international with a live rate at the world bank teller level. 8-5-2013  Guru BGG [Do you think Maliki is playing ball with the IMF?] not only is he playing – he’s the PITCHER!! several very good sources all agree – that Maliki is the one trying to get this done (ironically) and at a bit higher rate than the rest – he’s wanting above 2 bucks. [Why is Maliki suddenly playing ball?] obviously – he’s in a bad way. The environment in Iraq is NOT what most are saying, it is normal for Iraq and the People are not rioting as we speak. 7-31-2013 Newshound Guru Enorrste Article: “Iraqi economist Mohammad Saleh appearance of time live market breakdown and impasse of 2014 is not valid for Exchange” Quote: “The answer is, no, it’s the year parliamentary elections, and not in political stability, replacing the currency in 2014 is questionable.” This is the most direct statement that we have seen from Saleh on this matter…What he is telling us is that our currency will remain legal tender until at least 2014 and then beyond. In addition, however, he is stating that our currency will not even begin to be replaced until after the next election in March 2014. The fact that he states that the process of “removing the three zeros” must take place at the beginning of a fiscal year makes 1/1/2015 the earliest date for that process to begin. Read more…

And if the excuse is “political stability” next year is an election year and they will use that as an excuse as well. He also says at the end, that the GOI is afraid to open the economy because they are afraid they will take all their capital and leave Iraq. 7-28-2013 Intel Guru MntGoat I wish I had some better news but the IMF contact was not optimistic in us seeing this prior to maybe next Thursday Aug 1st. He also said its not like there is even a track anymore to follow so I can’t say “its right on track” anymore. There is nothing else to do but wait for the timing unless other issues crop up. The good news is that the rates that are being pushed down to the banks are very high and it almost knocked me over when I was told. I’m happy to update that everything is still status quo and the date I ALSO FIRST gave as August 8th (+ a day or so) is still on target.
