12-4-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday THEY SIGNED AND VOTED IN A TEMPORARY HCL AND HAVE AGREED ON THE OTHER ISSUES… THEY PASSED A TEMPORARY SO THEY COULD BEGIN IN PRODUCTION AND AGREE FORMALLY ON FINANCES. THE ERBIL AGREEMENT OF 17% AND SOME OTHER AGREEMENTS WILL TAKE PLACE WITH THE 2015 BUDGET. THE IMPACT OF THE ERBIL AGREEMENT CONFIRMS A POSITIVE EFFECT ON THE REALITY OF THE ECONOMY AND ALSO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS. This cannot take place at the same time the float begins, but instead must occur AFTER the float has begun. I see no impediment to a float beginning in January or so…Once the banking laws are passed, and they are nearing completion on them as I write, then the CBI can begin the float, IMO.

12-1-2014 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Article: “Saleh: 2016 year is ideal for the deletion of zeros” Remember the CBI is currently going to great lengths to sustain the exchange rate within the IMF guidelines…holding within 2% for the past 30 – 40 days or so. It would be unlikely they would be doing this for a project that is 12 months or more away. Couple of things to remember…Iraq is in an urgent situation to create jobs, investment, stability, rebuild infrastructure, etc. etc. Opening the banking system to the world is key and a critical step that must happen “before” they will have success with all of that. They cannot sit idle for 12 months or more and hope to hold the economy in Iraq together, let along create stability…now is the time! As soon as the laws are in place, we will see the transition. This is probably the biggest news in months. Major implications here – all three presidencies agreed to remove the highest judge in Iraq…consequently, the most corrupt and one of Maliki’s main tentacles of influence (in the judiciary)…Medhat being gone pretty much seals Maliki’s fate – but on the positive side, it portrays Jubouri (a Sunni), Massoum (a Kurd), and Abadi (a Shia) all agreeing on what could be a contentious issue. They acted quickly and in solidarity…longterm – this looks not-so-good for Iran…great for Iraq. I will be shocked if Maliki stays out fo jail for 2 more weeks. This is a MAJOR shake-up. Read more…

I don’t have any concrete evidence that it will happen tomorrow or tonight or yesterday, but look at how Chapter 7 unfolded. When that was done, it took EVERYONE by surprise. 11-25-2014 Intel Guru Frank26 IMO, the HCL (hydrocarbon law) is done…the HCL only needs to be implemented, it’s done, passed and ready to go… The HCL = The End, IMO …laws are needed to complete the MR, (Monetary Reform) and we have been seeing evidence of these laws… There is a meeting in Turkey that is extraordinary, bringing all the parties together to finish the MR, and we may see the parliament do something with laws tomorrow [Tuesday], but if not, don’t be discouraged, it’s coming. 11-23-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 …we continue to see more evidence of PM Abadi’s desire to do the right thing…his recent appointment of Dr. Saleh as a personal consultant I think shows his faith in the former CBI official…Abadi continues to show the people of Iraq and the world that his intentions are to build an Iraq that is based on honesty and integrity…cutting corruption, terrorism, and excessive spending…..putting Iraq and its government on a “diet” a reduction not in calories but in the amount of money it has been spending frivolously in the past 8 years. 11-20-2014 Newshound Guru Adam Montana [Is there ANY difference in value of un-circulated Dinar as compared to crumpled up old circulated Dinar at cash-in?] …the CBI currently states that they actually have the right to deny accepting any notes with even the slightest flaw…so if they were to do that, a note that’s crumpled, soiled, ripped, or otherwise “destroyed” could be rejected. However… it’s not likely that they will be that harsh, as it would undermine their goal with an RV – to increase their money’s value and also their “worth” in the world as the major leaders see them. They also “reserve the right” to refuse ANY currency from outside of Iraq, which is where we get the occasional lopster using that as “evidence” that an RV is impossible. The fact of the matter is that Iraq does need the support of the world to be successful, and I’m not worried about them refusing our notes as long as they are in decent condition. Now, if your dinars have been ran over by a skid steer, left outside in a mud puddle, and taped back together a couple times… you might have a problem! Read more…

11-19-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 we are already seeing a number of articles about the agreements made with the Kurds last week on oil and gas issues….PAYMENTS are going forward as we are seeing today…The government is continuing to move in the right direction…this has to be garnering them a considerable amount of trust and faith with the people, not just the Kurds but with all Iraqis. The retired people are being paid as well, I think for September and October…again favorable news. Even with the tragic bombing in Erbil today, the government and Abadi are standing as one and saying…the ones responsible will be held accountable. This was a swift message following the bombing… For almost the whole part of the last week the news from Iraq has been EXCITING…I don’t think I’ve ever posted that before…it is creating excitement by itself. 11-18-2014 Newshound Guru Breitling Back before Saddam started screwing around with the currency the note count was down to a billion notes and that’s why it was $3.00…move the situation forward…the Ministry of Planning, the Ministry of Finance and the CBI and their strategy…They had a 2 pronged attack. Get the oil to where it’s competitive, get enough oil out of the ground and have the currency at a certain level based on the note count so that they can be competitive. Then they were going to rebuild their infrastructure…they were going to reduce the note count and then they were going to add value to their currency so it gave purchasing power to the people and they were going to build the middle class in Iraq.
