The changes that Prime Minister Abadi is doing with the GOI is great, but that is for the future. 3-26-2016 Intel/Newshound Guru tman23 Recall the exact words by Shabibi…The project to lift the 3 zeros is a 3 step process with each step taking about 6 months…Recall the end of last February 2015 CBI Governor Alak gave the green light to begin the process to lift the 3 zeros… Recall articles in the past where GOI members called to delay the project and said start in June …where as Shabibi said; The time to lift the 3 zeros is at the start of the year and not the middle of a quarter or the middle of the year… So what we do know is that a 3 step plan consisting of 18 months would put the project in the 3 step as of right NOW… This weekend going into the 1st of April has HUGE POTENTIAL to see a change… IMO… With new loans becoming available end of month and end of month being the end of the first quarter and accounting rolled over… IMO… You should be very excited over this weekend…more excited than you ever been in during this speculation… Read more…

3-25-2016 Intel Guru SteveI I received some information from a couple contacts regarding the current news…The main focus was this past week some very strange things happening on the ISX. I guess the ISX was down for some time and when it came backup most of the numbers did not make sense. There seem to be some major trading by only a few companies. Also it was brought to my attention that most of the Iraqi bond purchases were to banks. This is very positive because banks have to have a minimum asset reserve to be able to participate in a global exchange of their currency (this was what several told me…). Another mention on the CBI site was the lack of some of the denominations that used to be listed. This is all looking very positive. Security seems to be getting under control. This came directly from someone in Iraq and is close to the action. ISIS is still a factor but not anywhere near what it was. I was also told that some major house cleaning regarding hundred of arrest warrants and many officials have already fled the country. Read more…

The advantages to raising the value are many…1st is investment. With an international Article Viii currency companies are more apt to invest large sums in Iraq because they see an easy path to get their money out. Secondly, it will stop the auctions because there usefulness will have run its course due to Iraqi companies not needing to convert to USD before they pay. No more remittances needed. No more systemic theft through the auctions. Third they will be pulling in dollars and letting dinars out as long as the rate is attractive enough, meaning the spread between the program rate and street rate disappears. Auctions will no longer be a vehicle with which speculators make a short profit and devalue the dinar and the CBI is expecting a resurgence in people coming back to use the banks again. 3-11-2016 Newshound Guru Tlar I think Sadr’s job in all this is to pressurize the change putting fear into all those who continue to try to stall this. I think Sadr is on board with Abadi and is taking an active roll in pushing this agenda the only way he can be of benefit to Abadi. By threatening to over run the green zone he has been able to get everyone going the same direction through that fear. Ministers quiting that otherwise might have tried to stay on, antagonistic blocks backing down from pushing to delay, etc. etc. I don’t think under any circumstances would he actually go in and wipe the government out. But he has put the fear of Allah in the corrupt politicians and they aren’t sure if he means what he says. This is why I think Abadi will be able to get this government seated quickly. Sadr is the bulldozer working with Abadi clearing the way for the reforms, while Abadi quickly gets them in place before the SOL and the other corrupt have a chance to organize. Read more…
