One of the questions was, of course, are they moving ahead again on the “project to delete the zeros”. To my surprise and amazement, I was told “affirmative” and that they now have support to move more aggressively and quicker. Trust me in the midst of all this chaos I was really surprised to hear this wonderful news. This was WOW! news to my ears. It’s a huge huge pressure cooker for Iraq right now. So watch the conversations about the budgets. Watch what they’re talking about…when is the exact date of when it’s gonna happen? It doesn’t matter…they can’t depend on that $56 per barrel budget and whatever value they’re gonna add to the currency.
