By more than 50% increased average; Iraq breaks record of oil production in 2014

Baghdad (Forat) – The Iraqi oil production for current year 2014, has exceeded its highest level , which has been reached since 35 years ago, the American Newspaper Wall Street Journal announced.
The newspaper said in a report , seen by Alforat News Agency, on Tuesday ” Iraqi oil fields ,pumped (3.6) million barrels of crude per day, during last February, by increasing average of more than (50%) than it was 4 years ago.
By this oil production average; Iraq broke record for its annual production of oil , which amounted to ( 3.5) million barrels per day in 1979, during the height of Iraqi oil production, the newspaper said.
Companies including BP, Royal Dutch Shell and Exxon Mobil have invested billions of dollars to revive the oil fields in Iraq, which had been damaged by decades of war, sanctions and neglect, the newspaper assured./End/
