The Iraq Oil, Gas and Energy Exhibition opened today, Thursday, at the Basra International Exhibition Grounds, with broad international participation represented by 18 countries and about 300 companies specializing in the fields of oil, gas and energy.
Basra Oil Media said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency that the exhibition was opened by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Gas Affairs, Izzat Saber Ismail, in the presence of the Minister of Communications, Mustafa Sand, and the Deputy Governor of Basra, Zaid Al-Imara, along with a number of officials and representatives of oil institutions and companies.
The exhibition features nearly 300 companies from 18 countries, showcasing the latest equipment, technologies, services and solutions related to the oil, gas and energy sectors, reflecting the scale of development in this sector and the importance of direct communication between specialized companies and institutions.
The exhibition halls witnessed a large turnout of those interested in the oil, gas and energy sector, as well as a remarkable presence of students studying in colleges and specializations of the oil industry, who were briefed on the latest technologies, equipment and solutions used in the industry, which contributes to enhancing their knowledge and linking the academic aspect with practical applications.
The exhibition will last for three days and will include a number of conferences, events and specialized meetings, forming an important platform for exchanging experiences and exploring prospects for cooperation in the energy sector.
