The Unified Anbar Alliance considered, on Sunday, that the resignations of the deputies from the Sovereignty Alliance are the beginning of the end and the disintegration of the latter, while stressing that the alliance was built according to the foundations of interest from the first moment of its formation.

Member of the coalition, Muhammad Daham, said in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency, that “the problems and resignations will greatly affect the cohesion of the coalition,” noting that “the sovereignty coalition was built according to the principles of interest, and it has been emptied of its content since the first moment in the political process.”

He continued, “The number of the coalition is very limited, and the repeated resignations will greatly affect its survival in the coming period,” noting that “the resignations of deputies from the Sovereignty Coalition is the beginning of the end and the disintegration of the Sovereignty Coalition after failure in many files.”

Dahham pointed out that “any other withdrawal of up to five deputies will dismantle the coalition completely, shortly after it entered the political process.”

The Secretary-General of the political movement in Diyala, Saif Al-Dahlaki, had previously spoken to Al-Maalouma agency that “false promises and imaginary entitlements are behind the recent disintegration of sovereignty,” noting that “the disintegration and fragmentation of the Sovereignty Alliance was not surprising to us and we expected it for quite some time in light of what We know him about the size of the differences between his leaders, which began to appear to the public in recent months.
