Shafaq News/ Iraqi politician Mithal Al-Alusi warned, on Thursday, of the repercussions of the judicial authority in his country activating an arrest warrant against former United States President Donald Trump, because he issued an order to carry out the assassination of the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, “Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis,” and the former commander of the Quds Force in Iranian Revolutionary Guard Qassem Soleimani and their comrades.
Al-Alusi’s warning comes in response to a speech by the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faeq Zaidan, during the official festival of the Popular Mobilization Committee to commemorate the third anniversary of the assassination of Al-Muhandis and Soleimani, in which he said: We issued an arrest warrant against Trump for his confession to killing the leaders.
And the Iraqi politician said in a tweet on social media, “Twitter”, that “my experience has taught me that this does not please even the Biden administration, and he will understand the matter as an inappropriate escalation in a way that Washington may respond to Iraqi national interests, with the imminent visit of Al-Sudani to Washington.”
