Palm – Iraqi sources said on Monday that the Iraqi judiciary issued an arrest warrant for Shabibi Iraqi Central Bank Governor on the background of “suspicious financial.”
The newspaper (range) in today’s edition that the Iraqi judiciary issued an arrest warrant against Central Bank Governor Sinan Shabibi following a suspicion of corruption in the work of the Central Bank of Iraq.
The newspaper quoted sources in the Iraqi parliament as saying that the Integrity Committee in the Iraqi Parliament confirmed “the arrival of an arrest warrant against Central Bank Governor Sinan Shabibi” as revealed parliamentary committee overseeing the central bank that the investigation proved the existence of sale of foreign currency to banks and corporations themselves and that has smuggled to neighboring countries.
