An official security source confirmed today, Tuesday, the tightening of procedures inside and outside the American bases in the country, adding that the forces present on the walls of the Ain al-Asad base fired live bullets at an Iraqi military convoy that was moving near it.
The source said in an interview with the Al-Ma’louma Agency, “There is a strict order that supplements the previous instructions to open fire on anyone who approaches the doors of the American military bases,” noting that “the shooting of civilians in the peripheral areas of the bases continues at all times.”
He continued, “Shooting at Iraqi military convoys is a dangerous precedent and a direct violation of the security forces,” pointing out that “American bases prevent the entry of any military figure in order not to see the numbers of American combat forces or military equipment and mechanisms inside occupied Ain al-Assad.” .

A member of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Saadoun, had confirmed in an interview with the Al-Ma’louma Agency, “There are no statistics or reports showing the numbers of American combat forces inside the military bases,” adding that talk about entering the American embassy or military bases smoothly has no connection to the truth.
