The president of the “Iraqi national,” Iyad Allawi, to form a committee from the list to negotiate with Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on the events that take place in Anbar province, against the backdrop of the arrest of MP Ahmed al-Alwani and make recommendations to him.
Allawi said in a press conference today in Baghdad that “among the recommendations that will be presented to the owners is to end armed manifestations of Iraq in general and Anbar in particular, and the release of MP Ahmed al-Alwani immediately and apologize to him for what has happened, and the emphasis on national unity and reconciliation with everyone, and to enter into formal negotiations with peaceful protestors in Anbar and in all parts of Iraq to solve the problems and meet the legitimate demands. ”
Allawi said, “that the delegation will present the perceptions of what is going on in Anbar, in preparation for contesting the upcoming parliamentary elections.” Allawi advised “all ministers to withdraw from the government because the legal and moral responsibility and the historical legitimacy and is their all without exception.”
