Leader of the National Coalition, Iyad Allawi, called on Tuesday to reconsider the election law in its current form.
Allawi said, via “Twitter”, that “the election law in its current form will result in the rotation of the same faces. It should be reviewed immediately and the unions, trade unions and peaceful protesters should be involved in opinion.”
He added, “Otherwise, there is no need for elections that consecrate the calamity of our people, and it is more expedient to spend the sums allocated for them on the sons of our wounded people as salaries and aid.”
