On Thursday, Al-Fatah Alliance member Ali Al-Zubaidi ruled out the possibility of the Zionist entity launching a strike or attack on Iraqi territory, noting that the agreements between Baghdad and Washington exclude the idea of targeting Iraqi territory.
Al-Zubaidi told Al-Maalouma, “The current data on the war waged by the Zionist entity, it seems that there are some restrictions on the rules of engagement, and it is unlikely that there will be a strike by the Zionist entity towards Iraqi territory.”
He added, “What excludes speculation about a Zionist strike against Iraq is the agreement between the federal government and the American occupier to keep Iraq out of the circle of conflict and the Iraqi government’s non-direct intervention in this conflict, despite the lack of any confidence in the intentions of America and the Zionist entity.”
He explained that “the federal government continues to provide logistical support to the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples in the war waged by the Zionist entity against the two countries, and therefore this support is not considered a factor pushing the usurping entity towards attacking Iraqi territory.”
