A member of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Ali Al-Zubaidi, confirmed that the US administration, through the Federal Bank, has imposed its hegemony on the Iraqi revenues in that bank and obtained from oil exports, pointing out that Washington is seeking in various ways to increase the poverty rate in Iraq through its financial measures. .
Al-Zubaidi told Al-Maalouma, “America is playing its tricks against Iraq through its control of the Iraqi oil revenues obtained and deposited in the US Federal Bank.”
He added, “America worked to impose its control over the Iraqi dollar it has, so that it did not give Iraq enough dollars, which caused a scarcity in the currency and thus an increase in its value against the dinar.”
And he indicated that “Al-Sudani did not put in his government program any increase in the value of the dollar against the dinar, but what happened is behind Washington with the aim of increasing the poverty rate in Iraq and achieving American interests and policies inside Iraq.”
