The political analyst, Sabah Al-Ugaili, said that the candidates for the coordination framework and the Sadrist movement may fall together if it is agreed between the two parties to proceed with the political process, pointing to the possibility of resorting to a consensual candidate between the two parties to head the government.
Al-Ugaili told Al-Maalouma, “The coordination framework and the Sadrist movement, and in the event that they agree to proceed with the political process, it is expected that a government will be formed in the near future, and a timetable will be agreed upon regarding the dissolution of Parliament.”
He added, “The Sadrist movement’s insistence on nominating Al-Kazemi to head the next government, along with the framework’s insistence on Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani as a candidate for the new government, it is possible that the candidates will fall if the two parties agree among themselves.”
