Independent MP Kazem Al-Touki confirmed that Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani pledged to be present in the House of Representatives when heading towards reading the budget in order to answer the questions and inquiries of the representatives about its paragraphs and items.

Al-Touki told Al-Maalouma, that “there is a possibility to pass the general budget during the month of Ramadan, especially since there are vigorous movements and demands that it be completed within Parliament and then proceed with its legislation.”

He added, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a al-Sudani has confirmed that he obtained the approval of all political blocs on the items and paragraphs of the budget before sending it to the House of Representatives, and therefore it will not take long when starting to read and legislate.”

And that “the Prime Minister pledged when sending the budget to the House of Representatives to be present in Parliament when heading towards reading the budget in order to answer the inquiries of the representatives and answer them and clarify some paragraphs of the budget.”
