The Prime Minister’s media office has set, on Tuesday, the days of the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
In a statement received by the office, the office stated, “The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a al-Sudani, directed that the Eid holiday be from Thursday, corresponding to April 20, until Monday, corresponding to April 24.”
Al-Sistani’s office in Najaf had announced that next Saturday would be the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
