The leader of the State of Law coalition, MP Muhammad Saadoun al-Sudani, confirmed, on Tuesday, that the cabinet reshuffle is about to take place, indicating that the mechanism for replacing ministers is still under agreement between the political forces.
Al-Sudani said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, that “all indications confirm that the approval of the federal budget will take place next week, and therefore the Al-Sudani government is preparing for a new start by replacing the incompetent ministers with others who are able to bear the next stage.”
He added, “The committees formed by the Council of Ministers to evaluate the ministers have completed their mission, and that the expected cabinet reshuffle is very close, after perhaps it will be announced after the budget is at the government’s disposal.”
Al-Sudani indicated that “the mechanism for replacing ministers is still under discussion between the political forces and the government in terms of replacing them from the same bloc or component, or there will be an exchange of positions between the components or political blocs, provided that it does not exceed the electoral weight of the bloc or component.”
And the Sudanese government had announced its intention to make an expected ministerial change through a higher committee for evaluation.
