Al-Sudani returns to Baghdad after the end of the work of the Arab-Chinese summitPrime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani concluded, this Friday evening, his participation in the Arab-Chinese Summit for Cooperation and Development, which was hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Al-Sudani’s office said in a statement that the latter “delivered Iraq’s speech at the summit, which was attended by a number of kings, presidents and representatives of the participating countries, in addition to Chinese President Xi Jiping.”

The Prime Minister expressed “Iraq’s vision of cooperation and friendship between the Arab countries and China, and what can be accomplished within the framework of economic integration, and the strong, coordinated confrontation of the challenges faced by the brotherly and friendly peoples whose leaders are participating in the summit.”

He explained, “Iraq’s position is keen on the stability of the global economic system, including the stability of the oil market, and positive openness to all friends, reiterating the principled stand with the right of the Palestinian people to their national state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.”

Al-Sudani held, according to the statement, “a series of meetings with a number of leaders and heads of government of the brotherly countries participating in the Arab summit, exchanging views with them and coordinating positions on the most important common economic and security challenges, ways to organize partnership between Arab countries and China, as well as discussing bilateral relations.” And files of common interest, and means of achieving development, stability and economic prosperity for the brotherly and friendly peoples of the countries participating in the summit.
