Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received today, Sunday, the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Iraq, Stephen Fagin.
The Prime Minister’s media office said in a statement that the latter “received the Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Iraq, Stephen Fagin, where they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and reviewed the most prominent issues of joint cooperation in various fields.”
According to the statement, the meeting discussed the overall situation in the region and the need for the international community to take immediate steps to prevent the region from sliding into a cycle of war.
