Official sources revealed, today, Monday, that Prime Minister Mohamed Al-Sudani will meet today, during his visit to America, with the White House Coordinator for Middle East Affairs, Bert McGurk, and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, before greeting US President Joe Biden.
The sources stated, “Al-Sudani will meet with US President Joe Biden at noon for one hour, where the meeting will be attended by the Ministers of Oil and Planning, the Iraqi Ambassador to Washington, Nizar Al-Khairallah, the official of the Office of Foreign Relations in the Kurdistan Government, Safin Dizay, and 3 of Al-Sudani’s advisors.”
She added, “After meeting with Biden, Al-Sudani will meet with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin in the Pentagon building, to discuss the security file, which is one of the most important parts of the visit.”
He continued, “Al-Sudani will discuss the withdrawal of coalition forces from Iraq.”
He confirmed, “Al-Sudani will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, with officials from the CIA and National Security, as well as a delegation from the US Treasury, banking institutions, and investment companies.”
As for Wednesday, Al-Sudani will meet with the Iraqi community in the city of Houston before leaving the United States on Thursday evening.
