Al-Sudani said at the cabinet’s weekly press conference that “100 days have passed since the government began, and since the beginning, we have set priorities for the work of the ministries and governorates.”

He added, “There are no red lines in the fight against corruption,” pledging to “return the money that was stolen before and after 2003.” He continued, “Social researchers are now conducting the largest search for those covered by the care network, and we have allocated a food basket for those covered, adding: We will even provide housing for those covered by care.”

Al-Sudani pointed out that, “Within 100 days, relations were clear with all countries, and the visits were well-thought-out.”

And he continued: “The currency window was a black point in the banking system,” pointing to “the vote on the central bank’s request to adjust the exchange rate to 1,300 dinars per one dollar,” stressing that “there is a second package of measures that the central bank will launch to counter the rise in exchange rates.”

Al-Sudani said: “To convince the citizen that the dinar is stronger than the dollar, I advise citizens not to acquire the dollar.”

And he stated, “The budget will be re-prepared, and it will include steps and projects that the citizen needs.”

The Prime Minister affirmed, “The allocation of 3 billion dollars in aid to Syria and Turkey after the devastating earthquake that the two countries were exposed to.”

Regarding the visit to Washington and Abu Dhabi, he explained that the first will include economic, energy and other files, while the UAE visit is at the invitation of the UAE government and will discuss economic files and develop relations between the two countries.
